1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1β3 business days.
Shock service orders (rebuilds, revalves, custom valving, dyno work) may require additional processing time depending on workload and parts availability.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
If there is a delay with your order, we will contact you directly.
2. Shipping Methods
Area 51 Suspension ships through trusted carriers such as:
USPS
UPS
FedEx
Shipping options include:
Standard Ground
Expedited
Priority / Express
Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, size, and destination.
3. Shipping Times
Estimated delivery times:
Standard Ground: 3β7 business days
Priority/Express: 1β3 business days
Please note:
Delivery times are estimates set by the carrier
Weather, holidays, and carrier delays are outside our control
4. Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive:
A shipping confirmation email
A tracking number to monitor your delivery
Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
5. Customer Shipping Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Providing a correct and complete shipping address
Ensuring a secure delivery location
Monitoring tracking information
Reporting delivery issues immediately
Area 51 Suspension is not responsible for:
Lost or stolen packages after delivery
Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
6. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
Provide photos of the damage
Include your order number
We will work with the carrier to file a claim and resolve the issue. Damage caused by installation, misuse, racing conditions, or modification is not covered.
7. International Shipping
At this time, Area 51 Suspension ships only within the United States. International shipping may be added in the future.
8. Shipping for Shock Service Orders
Customers shipping shocks to us for service are responsible for:
Proper packaging
Insurance coverage
All inbound and outbound shipping costs
Area 51 Suspension is not liable for shocks damaged in transit to our facility. We recommend:
Bubble-wrapping each shock individually
Protecting shafts
Double-boxing if necessary
Purchasing shipping insurance
9. Non-Returnable Items
Some items cannot be returned, as outlined in our Refund & Return Policy:
Installed or used parts
Fluids
Electronics
Custom shock work (non-returnable & non-refundable)
